YOUR ROLE
As a key member of the Operational Care Center, reporting to the Sea Logistics Operational Care Manager, Import, your primary focus will be to ensure a seamless experience for our internal customers during their interactions with the Operational Care Center. You will be part of a collaborative team that engages directly with Customer Care Locations (CCLs), providing proactive service, resolving issues, and coordinating with our customer service teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain comprehensive files for all sea import account billing.
- Oversee the billing process using the pricing agreed upon with clients within the designated timeframe.
- Review Gross Profit calculations to ensure accuracy.
- Guarantee that all billing is completed accurately and punctually by the end of each month.
- Work closely with the operational team to ensure all necessary billing information is accurately recorded in the system.
- Process files in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the system process team to enhance automation in Operational Care processes.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement.
- Adhere to QSHE (Quality, Safety & Health, Environment, Security & Dangerous Goods) standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service.
