Norton Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Diagnostic Imaging. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging equipment and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize imaging equipment and computer systems to produce and retain high-quality diagnostic images that meet or exceed department, organizational, and industry standards.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality principles.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, educate them on imaging processes, and respond to their questions and concerns.
  • Ensure age-appropriate communication, safety needs, patient education, and principles of physical and functional growth and development.
  • Apply professional knowledge to oversee and train students providing patient care, treatment, and services as part of their training.

Qualifications

  • One of the following:
    • RO (State Radiography License) AND ARRT-R
    • ROT (Temp State Radiography License) AND must obtain ARRT-R prior to ROT expiration

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of experience in general radiography
