Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality images that aid in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them to capture optimal images requested by the physician.
- Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate the CT scan equipment.
- Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies, and providing care to patients.
- Prepare examination rooms for CT scans and/or invasive procedures, and maintain room cleanliness.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- Certificate in a related field.
