About the Role

Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers on the sales floor, and processing transactions at the register.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
  • Assist customers on the sales floor and at the checkout register
  • Become familiar with all departments and categories to assist with customer questions and requests
  • Greet all customers, take donations, and provide receipts
  • Cross-train to cover the backdoor donation area and process all stations in the backroom
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Ability to use cash register, adding machine, credit card machine, and telephone
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow pricing guidelines
  • Good judgment, patience, and understanding
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time
