Job Summary

Mammoth Energy Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day field operations on location. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining good relationships with our base clientele, ensuring the successful operation of equipment, and overseeing the coordination and scheduling of equipment crews and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor and ensure safe execution of travel, job setup, job execution, and return of all personnel and equipment.
  • Quality Control: Oversee compliance with all quality control procedures set forth by Mammoth Energy Services.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is maintained properly per maintenance schedule and all required job, maintenance, and DOT paperwork are properly completed.
  • Personnel Management: Inspect all personnel, equipment, rig-up, and final pre-job fluid tests and chemical volumes to ensure they meet company and customer requirements.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to any and all employees as needed and ensure all personnel meet operational and OSHA training requirements.
  • Safety and Compliance: Conduct onsite safety meetings and ensure all personnel know their positions, duties, and responsibilities. Report all hazards or potentially hazardous situations, accidents, incidents, and injuries.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist mechanics with major repairs on equipment, train new employees as needed on equipment, operate crane and/or forklift, clean, organize, and take inventory of materials at the yard/warehouse, and conduct disciplinary action meetings with field personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years frac experience with 1+ years supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ability to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods of time, ability to lift 50lbs or more, ability to work irregular hours and be on call at all times, ability to effectively communicate and lead, ability to successfully solve problems, and basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Compliance: Comply with all Mammoth Energy Services policies and procedures and all health and safety policies.
