About Frontline Wildfire Defense
Our mission is to protect homes and communities from wildfire. We enable customers to track wildfires, receive important alerts, and safely navigate a wildfire, while protecting a customer's home with our remotely operated Frontline Wildfire Defense System.
About This OpportunityWe're seeking a highly organized, hands-on Field Technician capable of doing installations. This opportunity has room for advancement, and bonus opportunities after certification is achieved.
Responsibilities
- Install Frontline Wildfire Defense Systems on residential customers' homes.
- Layout and assemble the necessary pipework.
- Install sprinklers and properly seal all roof penetrations.
- Assemble and install equipment to stucco, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.
- Wire system components (low voltage).
- Occasionally perform trenching, concrete work, traffic control.
- Handle project clean up on a daily basis.
- Maintain and organize inventory of vehicles and storage locations.
- Travel required up to 75% during the summer busy season with overnight stays required.
- Construction-related experience.
- Roof experience a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and know when to ask questions.
- Experience working outdoors under various weather conditions.
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance).
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills.
- Maintain a valid Driver's License.
- Willingness to travel/reliable transportation.
- Able to pass a background check.
- Compensation will be dependent on experience.
