About Frontline Wildfire Defense

Our mission is to protect homes and communities from wildfire. We enable customers to track wildfires, receive important alerts, and safely navigate a wildfire, while protecting a customer's home with our remotely operated Frontline Wildfire Defense System.

About This Opportunity

We're seeking a highly organized, hands-on Field Technician capable of doing installations. This opportunity has room for advancement, and bonus opportunities after certification is achieved.

Responsibilities

  • Install Frontline Wildfire Defense Systems on residential customers' homes.
  • Layout and assemble the necessary pipework.
  • Install sprinklers and properly seal all roof penetrations.
  • Assemble and install equipment to stucco, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.
  • Wire system components (low voltage).
  • Occasionally perform trenching, concrete work, traffic control.
  • Handle project clean up on a daily basis.
  • Maintain and organize inventory of vehicles and storage locations.
  • Travel required up to 75% during the summer busy season with overnight stays required.
Qualifications
  • Construction-related experience.
  • Roof experience a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions, learn quickly, and know when to ask questions.
  • Experience working outdoors under various weather conditions.
  • Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance).
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills.
  • Maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to travel/reliable transportation.
  • Able to pass a background check.
