We are currently seeking a Full-Time Nutritional Services Assistant.
** Flexible Shifts Available **
** Competitive Pay: $14.50 per hour **
Qualifications for Nutritional Services Assistant:
- Must possess a caring and empathetic disposition.
- Prior experience in food service is essential.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English is required.
- Availability to work every other weekend and holiday is necessary.
We are looking for a Nutritional Services Assistant who:
- Is driven by a mission to serve the elderly.
- Enjoys engaging with residents and enhancing their dining experience.
- Understands the importance of presentation in food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established Infection Control protocols.
- Prepare and present food in a nutritious and appealing manner.
- Utilize kitchen equipment including toasters, steam lines, plate warmers, dishwashers, and coffee makers.
- Monitor and record temperatures of refrigerators, freezers, and dishwashers.
- Label and date food items for proper storage.
- Distribute snacks to residents as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors.
- Clean kitchen equipment and stainless-steel surfaces.
