The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for assessing and treating residents based on physician directives, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques aimed at restoring muscle strength, enhancing coordination, and improving overall body alignment. This role is integral to the interdisciplinary team, offering expertise and support in the realm of rehabilitation.
Compensation Range: $50 - $55
Key Responsibilities1. Analyze resident information and assess its relevance to the treatment and evaluation process.
2. Perform and document comprehensive functional assessments of residents, employing standardized methods. Evaluate home, vocational, and equipment requirements.
3. Create and execute a personalized treatment strategy tailored to resident needs, incorporating achievable functional objectives.
4. Adhere to evaluation, treatment, and documentation protocols while consistently maintaining accurate and timely departmental records.
5. Guide Assistants in treatment methodologies and provide thorough supervision during their interactions with residents.
Qualifications1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
2. Valid license in the state of practice.
3. Preferably possesses experience or training in a setting catering to a similar demographic as the residents served by this facility.
4. Relevant certifications and demonstrated proficiency in specialized areas, if applicable.
