Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team at Hirebridge Organic. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality MRI examinations for diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform MRI Examinations: Conduct magnetic resonance imaging studies, conferring with radiologists to establish protocols for non-standard examinations and determining technical factors to complete the exam.
  2. Patient Care: Receive patients, explain the examination method, and position the patient, perform IV puncture and administer IV contrast agent as indicated.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of patients imaged and type of examinations performed, including protocols used.
  4. Supply Management: Monitor the use of supplies and order supplies as needed.
  5. Safety Protocols: Perform or monitor safety checks on patients, employees, and visitors to comply with safety standards regarding ferrous objects and cardiac pacemakers prior to entering the magnetic field.
  6. Image Quality: Monitor examinations by checking computations, performances, and results of selected parameters to obtain the best diagnostic computer-generated data and images.
  7. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is operated within manufacturer guidelines.
  8. Administrative Tasks: Assist with obtaining acceptable images, uploading and charting necessary information for ACR renewal, and printing orders and previous reports.
Requirements
  1. Education: Associate's degree in an allied health field or a bachelor's degree and certification in another clinical imaging field with six months of supervised clinical MRI scanning experience.
  2. Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or certified by ARRT and/or appropriate state licensure with six months of supervised clinical MRI scanning experience.
  3. Experience: Minimum six months of supervised clinical MRI scanning experience.
Working Conditions

The MRI Technologist will work in an office environment, frequently interacting with patients, testing sites, and surgery departments. The work may be stressful at times, and the individual must be able to adapt to changing situations.
