Position Details
Schedule: Full Time, 11am-11:30pm, 36 hours per week
Role Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will:
1. Provide comprehensive nursing care, utilizing a strong foundation of clinical knowledge and experience to address the needs of patients.
2. Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
3. Demonstrate advanced assessment skills and understand the influence of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.
4. Accurately document nursing processes and care plans in the appropriate formats, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
5. Incorporate patient and family goals into care planning while managing time efficiently and adhering to the AACN Synergy Model.
6. Engage in continuous professional development to maintain competencies and meet the requirements of the clinical lattice point system.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A valid and active nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- A minimum of 12 months of recent nursing experience or completion of a re-entry nursing program within the last five years.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification may be required in specific departments.

Compensation
