Position Summary

We are in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer to contribute to various active projects within our Software, Cyber, and Intelligence Division. This role will involve supporting FPGA/ASIC Firmware Verification efforts, which includes reviewing designs and documentation, as well as implementing and testing software/firmware for both commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom electronic hardware tailored for laboratory and military applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct verification and testing of FPGA/ASIC designs, assemblies, integrations, and embedded firmware.
  • Engage in dynamic constrained-random verification of FPGA devices, utilizing predictive modeling and scoring of device behavior.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders by delivering code and functional coverage metrics, including defect counts.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies and plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog.
  • Familiarity with UVM (IEEE standard/methodology).
  • Experience with Questa ModelSim/QuestaSim or potentially Synopsis Synplify.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
