About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Case Manager III to join our team at Volunteers of America Los Angeles. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for the case management team, mentoring and guiding colleagues in their work with high-needs populations.

Job Summary and Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Assessments and Planning: Conduct thorough screenings and assessments with clients to collect vital information and develop tailored service plans.
  • Team Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance and oversight to case managers, ensuring they meet program standards and deliver high-quality services.
  • Community Resource Coordination: Identify and connect clients with essential community resources, including therapeutic, social, educational, and medical services.
  • File Maintenance and Compliance: Ensure accurate and complete documentation, adhering to program requirements and regulatory standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in social sciences or family therapy, with completion of VOALA Case Management training within six months of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum five years of demonstrated case management experience with high-needs populations, with one year reduced for those holding a master's degree in social sciences.
  • Licensure and Certifications: Valid driver's license, current TB screening and immunization records, BLS certification, and fingerprint clearance.

Estimated Salary: $31.50 - $33.22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
