Contractor Service and Fabrication, Inc. is seeking a skilled Junior Estimator to support the lead estimator in calculating accurate major construction cost estimates. As a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, negotiation, and contract execution of industrial construction projects.

• Assist the lead estimator in determining the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, labor, and indirects for industrial construction projects.
• Conduct research on construction documents and analyze specifications to ensure accurate estimates.
• Prepare estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work, ensuring timely submission of relevant documents and budgets.
• Collaborate with the lead estimator to identify risks, formulate contingency plans, and effectively manage risks that may impact cost and schedule.
• Conduct site visits and provide other services, such as bid deliveries, as required.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical/Piping Estimating Assistant or equivalent work experience within the Mechanical/Piping Construction Field with advanced Excel knowledge.
• Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to collaborate closely with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent research, proposal writing, and oral presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
• Advanced Excel skills and demonstrable competency with estimating software.
• Ability to travel and perform site visits.
