Medical Scribe

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Scribe - Orthopedics Clinic. As a Medical Scribe, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Orthopedic Surgeon and gain valuable experience in clinical documentation and patient care.

• Accompany the Orthopedic Surgeon into patient rooms to document patient charts
• Track and document laboratory and radiology studies
• Research past medical records, record medications given, responses to therapy, and physician consultations
• Perform other clerical duties as required

• At least 18 years of age
• Commit to 9+ months of availability to work at least 2-3 shifts weekly
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Brookhaven, GA
• Interested in pursuing a career in healthcare
• Experience with computers and typing
• Sharp, motivated, and reliable
• Some knowledge of medical terminology
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to type at 50+ words per minute
