Job Summary:

This Adjunct Faculty member teaches Banking courses to students pursuing a broad range of Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees.

Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities:

  • MDC In-Person
  • MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment)
  • MDC Online (online delivery)
  • Blended Classes

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluate and advise students
  • Participate in departmental and College affairs
  • Develop curricula
  • Recruit students
  • Serve on committees
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
  • Master's degree including 18 graduate credits in Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, Accounting, and/or Law and five years of work experience in financial services
  • Master's degree and 15 years of work experience in financial services
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working nights and weekends
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment
