GI Endoscopy Nurse

Gateway Endoscopy Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility, is seeking a skilled and compassionate GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our team.

As a GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth office operations.

• Know and adhere to policies of the Center and demonstrate fiscal responsibility.
• Follow standards, policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for non-acutely ill patients according to accepted standards.
• Demonstrate ability to understand the unique needs of each age group of the patient population.
• Follow OSHA and other standards for protection against blood borne pathogens.
• Use good body mechanics.
• Remain calm and function as a team member during times of stress and crisis situations.
• Able to take vital signs and apply V/S monitors and documents appropriately.
• Cross train as a GI Technician.
• Follow employee health and other personnel and staffing policies.

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• GI experience (preferred).
• Current State License as a Registered Nurse.
• Current in BLS, ACLS.
• Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Possess the ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees.
