Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Northside Hospital Inc. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients are met.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and perform procedures for physical hygiene and comfort.
  • Work collaboratively with a unit-based, self-directed patient care team to share tasks and responsibilities.
  • In the Special Care Nursery, assist with transporting newborns, cleaning equipment, and ordering patient care supplies.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Georgia or equivalent experience.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a healthcare setting, including 6 months at Northside Hospital.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Course.
Work Schedule

7PM-7AM, with weekend requirements and no on-call responsibilities.
