Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified Physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology to provide temporary coverage in a clinic setting. This role involves being on call for clinic deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in call shifts one weekend per month.
  • Provide care for a total of 72 hours over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Utilize the EMR/EHR system: EPIC for patient documentation.
  • Maintain required certifications, including BLS and DEA.
  • Manage routine deliveries and handle low-risk pregnancies.
  • Address complicated deliveries, including VBAC (Vaginal Birth after C-Section).
  • Interpret Fetal Heart Rate monitoring.
  • Preferred experience with high-risk pregnancies and OB Ultrasound interpretation.
  • Perform procedures such as IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP.
  • Conduct laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures, including tubal ligation and LOA's.
  • May supervise Family Practice Residents during their clinic patient deliveries.
