Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute therapeutic plans designed to help patients recover and improve their skills, under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
  • Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and engage them in activities tailored to their needs and interests.
  • Contribute to the planning and selection of therapeutic activities, applying creative and practical approaches to meet individual objectives.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting observations to the occupational therapist and adjusting therapy interventions as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on the therapy process, adaptive equipment, and home modifications.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
