We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at The Dentist Place Ocala. As a valued member of our patient care team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care and service to our patients.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and patient education.
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and exceptional outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices.

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in Florida.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements

The ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.

Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
