Job Summary and Qualifications
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse


Registered Nurses are responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and offering emotional support to patients and their families.

RNs must exercise independent and sound judgment in delivering a wide array of services in accordance with the nursing practice scope. What you will do in this role:

You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, treatment options, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served as per Scope of Service.

You will promote customer service initiatives. You will have the opportunity to utilize the nursing process for individualized care to meet patient needs. In this role, you will showcase your ability to perform technical skills and procedures. Common diagnoses include respiratory distress, prematurity, hypoglycemia, apnea, bradycardia, sepsis, temperature instability, and hyperbilirubinemia.

What qualifications you will need:


- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
- Current licensure by the appropriate Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS certification (Other certifications as required per Provision of Care for area of employment).

NRP Certification within 90 days of hire. STABLE certification within 6 months upon hire. 1 Year of RN experience required. NICU experience highly preferred. TriStar StoneCrest proudly serves the community with a commitment to quality patient care.
