We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team at the Hampton Roads Community Health Center, Inc. in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia.
About the Role:This is an exempt position responsible for providing quality dental care to pediatric and adult patients according to the Virginia Board of Dentistry. The successful candidate will work under limited supervision and report to the Chief Dental Officer.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens while promoting oral health & disease prevention.
- Provide primary dental care to eligible patients following currently acceptable treatment standards.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of the Hampton Roads Community Health Care Dental Care Plan.
- Administer emergency care to post-operative patients and comprehensive care to adult patients aged 21 and older for the relief of pain and/or infection.
- Manage patient flow in the clinic to maximize efficiency in production of number of patients treated, total procedures provided, and number of corrective services provided.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited dental school with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree.
- Must have a valid License issued by the Virginia Board of Dentistry.
- Must be Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified.
