The Job

We're seeking an experienced Fleet Technician to join our team. As a technician at Penske, you'll perform routine maintenance and repairs on our vast fleet of vehicles. Your expertise will ensure our customers' vehicles remain safe and in optimal condition.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and repair vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
  2. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  3. Diagnose complex problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  4. Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of practical experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational certification preferred.
  • OEM training courses and ASE Certification beneficial.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting. You must be able to safely work at heights using ladders and elevated platforms. Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.
