About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at McKibbon Hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Approach each guest interaction with a mindset of exceeding expectations, embracing our culture, and providing friendly and personalized service.
  • Drink Preparation: Mix all drinks based on serving sizes outlined in our company manual to maintain drink costs at a minimum.
  • Bar Experience: Help create an energized bar experience through friendly and personalized service, maintaining an accurate cash drawer, and being able to account for any discrepancies.
  • Bar Maintenance: Take pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel, ensuring the bar and surroundings are clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • Product Quality: Drive product quality and guest satisfaction consistently, operating as if you own it, and anticipating customer needs.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30-lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
Requirements
  • Experience: One to two years' experience as a bartender.
  • Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legal Requirements: The legal ability to serve alcohol in the State/Province.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of state and local guidelines regarding service of alcohol, drink preparation, and computational skills to process guest payments.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification and/or alcohol service training recommended.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift trays of beverages or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Personal Qualities: Being a motivated self-starter, conscientious, and driven to consistently serve guests with utmost professionalism and courtesy.
