Student Loan Repayment:
This role may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, assisting you in paying off your loans with an additional monthly payment of $167 (up to $10,000) to expedite your principal balance reduction.

Job Responsibilities:
The Surgical Technologist is responsible for supporting the surgical team in delivering patient care for assigned individuals under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. All tasks must align with the hospital's Catholic heritage and Avera's values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship, while adhering to the standards set by regulatory and accrediting agencies.

Qualifications:
+ Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
+ At least 6 months of experience is necessary, with 3-5 years preferred.

Licensure/Certification:
+ Current credentials from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

Work Schedule:
+ Varied shifts of 8 or 12 hours, totaling 72 hours every two weeks.
+ Participation in weekend on-call rotation.
+ Holiday on-call rotation.
+ On-call duty one night per week.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $23.25 to $34.00, depending on experience.
