Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in cardiovascular surgery.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care, with a focus on cardiovascular surgery.
- Current Louisiana Registered Nursing license and BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
- Preferred certification as a Certified Nurse of Operating Room (CNOR).
