Job Highlights:

Work location: Texas Health Stephenville

Work environment: Surgery Department

Work hours: Full-Time, 36 hours weekly, call required after appropriate training period

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in 4 operating rooms and 1 procedure room
  • Services provided include Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, ENT, Dental, and General Surgery

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009
  • Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology
  • CST - Certified Surgical Technologist graduate of an accredited surgical tech program
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
