About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Marketing to join our faculty at the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will have the opportunity to conduct scholarly research, teach engaging courses in marketing management and strategy or marketing analytics topics, advise students, and provide service to the department, school, university, and academic community.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct scholarly research and publish in high-caliber peer-reviewed journals
  • Teach marketing management and strategy or marketing analytics courses
  • Advise students and provide mentorship
  • Participate in department, school, and university service
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Marketing, Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, or a related field
  • Established or emerging research agenda
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment or a commitment to do so
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Marketing or Business Administration with a primary concentration in Marketing
  • Emerging or established research agenda and potential for scholarship
  • Teaching experience in marketing courses
  • Interest and/or experience in marketing management/strategy or marketing analytics/research
