Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operational integrity of SACM Configuration processes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of CMDB data, including research, troubleshooting, and data enhancement.
  • Ensure SACM Configuration Management aligns with established policies and procedures.
  • Lead root cause analysis initiatives to enhance data accuracy.
  • Manage relationships with data owners and consumers regarding SACM Configuration.
  • Identify and resolve process or data discrepancies, ensuring completeness of Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Advance ITSM CSDM (Common Services Data Model) practices and structures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement or improve integration interfaces with applications utilizing CMDB data.
  • Strengthen alignment with SACM process stakeholders and related data management.
  • Act as a steward for SACM Configuration data and processes, promoting training and adherence among data owners and users.
  • Drive governance of CMDB statistics, processes, and trends through reporting and dashboards.
  • Schedule and lead audits and data enrichment initiatives for CMDB governance.
  • Enhance data governance best practices to ensure consistent and accurate data.
  • Support the integration of new Applications or Business Services into the CMDB.
  • Assist with data certification audits and maintain the overall health of the Data Certification program.
  • Manage SACM Configuration Service Catalog items, including their content and associated workflows.
  • Collaborate with owners of other Service Catalog items impacting CMDB data to ensure governance standards are met.
  • Maintain and improve a custom in-house consumer-facing CMDB application.
  • Define and uphold recurring test cases to support platform health and upgrades.
Qualifications
  • Experience in supporting Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or business-related field or 3+ years of SACM experience.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow, particularly CMDB, AMDB, and Discovery functionalities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL IT Service Management processes.
  • 3+ years of experience in a process-driven, ITIL-aligned organization.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Knowledge of the ServiceNow Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE).
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of KPIs and methodologies for problem identification and trend tracking.
  • Experience managing large data repositories in multi-source environments.
  • History of supporting SACM process adherence in complex IT organizations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT processes and service management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management abilities.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ITIL V4 certification.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Multi-Source CMDB/CMDB 360.
  • Experience with various Cloud Solutions.
  • Knowledge of the Common Service Data Model.
  • Understanding of application architecture and service delivery modeling.
