Histotechnician Specialist

Allied Digestive Health is a leading gastroenterology care network with over 200 providers and 60 locations across New Jersey and New York. Our physician-led organization prioritizes personalized treatment plans and delivers high-quality care through a dedicated team of board-certified gastroenterologists and hepatologists.

We are seeking a Full-time Histotechnician to join our team in Pearl River, New York. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm, and will be responsible for processing specimens, participating in laboratory activities, and performing routine procedures.

• Process specimens with minimal supervision and participate in administrative and technical activities to ensure uninterrupted functions and test results integrity.
• Perform routine procedures, including accessioning, grossing, embedding, cutting, staining, cover slipping, labeling, and distribution.
• Prepare and maintain working solutions for routine H&E, special, and IHC staining.
• Complete routine and special requests for additional levels, recuts, special stains, and immunohistochemistry.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including troubleshooting and changing instrument reagents.

• NY State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technician
• Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution
• Basic computer skills
• Experience in a pathology laboratory is preferred

This role operates in a professional laboratory environment and routinely uses standard pathology laboratory equipment.
