About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team at Kim's K-9. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our canine guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch care and attention to our dogs, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising them.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients and their pets.
  • Assist with training and socialization programs to help our dogs become well-adjusted and well-behaved.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure a clean and safe environment for all animals.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest animal care techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a kennel or daycare setting.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
