We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This is a full-time opportunity for a qualified professional to work with early childhood through 3rd-grade students in the Norridge, IL school district.
About the Position
This onsite role focuses on providing speech and language services to students with varying needs. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be licensed to practice in Illinois. We welcome Clinical Fellows who are ready to grow and make a meaningful impact in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessments and Therapy Plans: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals.
- Direct Therapy Services: Provide high-quality therapy sessions in group and individual settings, using evidence-based practices and strategies.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to ensure student progress and provide support as needed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and outcomes.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Licensure: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
- Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in school-based speech therapy, preferably with early childhood through 3rd-grade populations.
- Skillset: Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
