Machine Builder

At Aerotek, we're seeking a skilled Machine Builder to join our team in Waukesha, Wisconsin. As a Machine Builder, you will work independently and as part of a project team to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met.

• Organize and maintain electrical schematics, shop materials, job inventory, and tools.
• Wire electrical sub-panels from schematics and customer specifications.
• Modify enclosures as required to fit components.
• Install cord grips, hardware, flexible and rigid conduit to interconnect enclosures.
• Understand the build process and make mechanical or electrical changes.
• Proficient with industry electrical code, NEC, ANSI, NFPA.
• Interpret assembly blueprints or specifications manuals and plan assembly or building operations.
• Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists or lifts.
• Lay out, drill, ream, tap, or cut parts for assembly.
• Set up and operate metalworking machines such as drills, grinders, saws, hammer drills, etc.
• Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
