Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes, particularly in precision metal stamping and insert molding.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and uphold our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 13485 standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for external quality audits and specific customer requirements.
- Lead internal audits, manage corrective actions, and assist with supplier, customer, and registrar audits.
- Create and oversee quality reports, corrective action databases, and document control systems.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Tooling teams to produce FMEAs, Process Flow Charts, and Inspection Control Plans.
- Analyze blueprints and specifications related to geometric tolerancing, gauging, and statistical requirements.
- Design inspection methodologies and systems, including fixture and gauge design, and program Vision/CMM systems.
- Work closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to address quality concerns and investigate customer complaints as part of the 8D team.
- Train inspectors on quality methodologies, statistics, GD&T, Vision Systems, and CMMs.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years in Quality Control/Assurance within the automotive and medical sectors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in FMEA, Process Flows, Control Plans, and quality system standards.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-45208A, MIL-STD-45662, MILQ9858A, ISO 9000, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO standards.
- Experience with inspection of metals or resins.
- Skilled in blueprint interpretation, GD&T, and statistical analysis.
- Proficient in Vision and CMM systems, data collection software, statistical software, and MS Office Suite.
