Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist to join our team in a high-volume cataract surgery practice. Our comprehensive team consists of 10 ophthalmologists with expertise in various specialties, including Retina, Glaucoma, Oculoplastic, Cornea, Ocular Pathology, Pediatric, and General Ophthalmology. We also have a strong support team of 9 medical-based optometrists.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a well-established referral base spanning over 7 counties in the Northern Tier of Pennsylvania and Southern Tier of New York. Our state-of-the-art operating rooms are designed specifically for Ophthalmology, and we have a dedicated team of support staff, including ophthalmic and diagnostic technicians.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a generous salary, benefits, and opportunities for career development. Our meeting time is 14 days with options for home study, and we provide $3,400 annually for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.
