Job Description

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in delivering excellent patient care in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. As a CNA for Interim HealthCare of York, PA, you will have the opportunity to work with a team of physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to provide personalized care to patients.

The primary responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant include:

  • Assisting with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake
  • Helping with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Checking vitals, measuring intake/output, monitoring blood glucose, and documenting any changes
  • Observing patient behavior and notifying supervisors of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment

A successful Certified Nursing Assistant should possess a compassionate nature, good communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. In addition, they should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and an active CNA license in PA, as well as CPR certification.

The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and location.
