About the Role

CVHCare Home Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, voice, swallowing, and other related disorders in our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in case conferences and in-services to stay up-to-date on best practices
Requirements
  • Valid California Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license in good standing
  • Open to entry-level or candidates with no prior home health experience
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision of a licensed professional
  • Good computer skills and ability to complete EMR documentation in a timely manner
