Maternity Care Registered Nurse

CTTX Health is in search of a dedicated and empathetic Maternity Care Registered Nurse (RN) to enhance our healthcare team.
As a maternity care nurse, your role will be vital in delivering care and assistance to women throughout the childbirth experience.
Our organization is devoted to providing exceptional healthcare services while fostering a nurturing and cooperative work atmosphere.In this position, you will be tasked with evaluating and observing patients, aiding in labor and delivery processes, offering education and support to families, and working closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:• Evaluate and observe patients during the labor and delivery process.
• Assist in labor and delivery procedures, including both vaginal and cesarean births.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief methods.
• Monitor and document vital signs for both mother and infant.
• Provide emotional support and educational resources to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive medical records.
• Offer postpartum care and support for breastfeeding.
Qualifications:
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in maternity nursing.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Strong understanding of childbirth procedures and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
