Job Summary:

To provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a hospital and/or clinical setting, focusing on OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular superficial structures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and confidently. Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, communicating with radiologists, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, adhering to department policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Assisting patients and transporting them as needed.
  • Exam review, filing, and restocking supplies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasonographer program or 2 years of previous ultrasound experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience performing ultrasound exams, preferably within the last 3 years.
  • Vascular ultrasonographer experience is a plus.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) ARDMS certification is highly desirable.

Notes:

This position requires daily use of diagnostic equipment and imaging systems. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
