Job Summary:
Morgan Truck Body LLC is seeking a skilled Production Associate/Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and assembling truck bodies, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate assembly
- Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using various saws, sheers, and cutters
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners
- Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools to assemble truck bodies
- Perform setup and preventative maintenance as required
- Examine finished projects for quality and defects
- Perform safety and quality checks to ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of previous experience in manufacturing
- Must be 18 years old
- Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills
- Working with hand and power tools
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working on truck bodies
- Construction experience is a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
Work Environment:
This job operates in a manufacturing plant environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 35 pounds.
