Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at CPL Architects Engineers Landscape Arch & Sur. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to perform construction inspections and verify compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare daily construction reports and other documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients throughout the construction process.
  • Verify contract quantities and record daily quantities in each report.
  • Coordinate with owners, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other external project personnel as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Interest in construction inspection and related fields.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Ability to prepare daily construction reports and other important documents.
  • Able to work effectively with Engineers-in-Charge, designated Office Engineers, and Project Managers.
  • Ability to problem solve and use judgment.
  • Willingness to learn industry data management programs to file reports, photographs, and other data.
  • General computer skills, including experience using a Tablet and Microsoft Office.
  • CPESC and OSHA 10 certification, or willingness to obtain within six months.
  • Valid driver's license.
