Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Radiology Technologist to provide exceptional imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role is vital in supporting patient care through advanced diagnostic techniques.

Mission Hospital is a prominent 815-bed healthcare institution located in Asheville, North Carolina. Renowned as the region's only Level II trauma center, it also houses the sole children's hospital in the western part of the state. Job Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging across various settings, including portable and operating room environments
  • Conduct imaging for emergency department trauma cases
Schedule and Equipment

This position requires participation in weekend rotations. The technologist will work with:

  • GE radiology rooms
  • Portable GE and Shiatzu units
  • OEC C-arms and Medtronics O-arms

Experience with Cerner Rad Net EMR is preferred. Typical procedures include diagnostic imaging, trauma imaging, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player capable of working independently. A professional appearance is expected, with a dress code of black scrubs.
