Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests upon their arrival.
  • Register guests, confirming reservations, personal details, and payment information.
  • Process payments during check-in and check-out, maintaining an accurate cash bank.
  • Allocate rooms while accommodating special requests.
  • Keep track of room availability, reservations, and assignments.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to update room statuses.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Facilitate guest check-outs and manage financial transactions.
  • Uphold guest privacy and adhere to the organization's standards.
  • Take ownership of the guest experience in key areas of the hotel.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
  • Familiarity with local attractions and events.
  • Understanding of financial policies related to credit and cash handling.
  • Ability to learn and implement safety and emergency procedures.
  • Proficient in using front office equipment.
  • Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Compensation: $10.00 - $11.50 per hour
