Aerodynamics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamics Engineer to join our Compressor Product Development organization. As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will work with colleagues in the United States and Germany on the design and development of new product aerodynamic components and concepts, and improvements to our existing portfolio of single-shaft and integral gear centrifugal compressor products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support compressor testing and root cause failure investigation
- Assist in proposal development for new equipment and revamp opportunities
- Collaborate with the Bid Management organization on compressor quotations
- Support Engineering in aerodynamic aspects during order execution
- Conduct root cause analyses of compressor performance issues
Requirements:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Aerodynamics, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
- Familiarity with turbomachinery aerodynamics and experience with CFD software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
