About the Role

Morgantown Veterinary Care is seeking a highly motivated and organized veterinarian to join our team. As a well-established small animal and exotic hospital, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality medicine with a focus on low-stress animal care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical care and treatment to a diverse range of animals, including small animals and exotics
  • Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with our experienced staff to ensure seamless patient care and excellent customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in veterinary care
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of West Virginia
  • Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude
  • The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members
  • Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets
  • Compassionate team player who can uphold great reputation with clients
  • A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding the veterinary code of ethics
  • Proficiency in surgery a plus
