Job Summary

The Material Handler will be responsible for shipping finished products in good condition according to standard operating procedures. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shipping and Receiving: Ensure that all products are properly packaged and labeled for shipping, and that all receiving documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking and reporting on inventory discrepancies.
  • Warehouse Operations: Assist with receiving, storing, and shipping products, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects, and report any issues to the quality control team.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Licensure: Licensed forklift truck operator.
  • Experience: Experience with inventory and shipping a plus.
  • Skills: Good computer skills, good verbal communication skills, ability to read and write English, and basic math skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
