Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Flight Test Maintenance Technician to join our team at Honda North America. As a key member of our flight test team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems on aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, and repair mechanical equipment, including flight control, landing gear, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, and engine systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify defects and ensure accuracy of assembly and installation.
  • Test mechanical equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness.
  • Adjust, replace, or repair defective components based on analysis of function test results.
  • Perform ground operations for flight test and maintain accurate records of all work.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A&P License required.
  • Experience with flight operation support and aircraft repair or modification.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand wiring drawings and mechanical systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull items up to 50lbs with the use of assistive technology.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces, high places, and outside environments.
