POSITION OVERVIEW

The Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant is responsible for delivering patient care and engaging in patient-related activities as directed by the supervising Therapist, adhering to established medical protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures all patients are treated with fairness, kindness, dignity, and respect, safeguarding their rights at all times.
  • Respects and honors all patients' personal and property rights while performing duties, including knocking before entering a patient's room.
  • Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Administers treatment to patients as instructed by a licensed therapist.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program.
  • Successful completion of the certification/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Must possess current registration/licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Salary Range: $40.00/hr*

*This salary range reflects what Monrovia Post Acute reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation will depend on various factors such as experience, education, and qualifications.
