Job Description

As a Perinatal Care Nurse Specialist at Boston Medical Center, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care to our diverse patient population. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the highest quality of care for patients and their families across the healthcare continuum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional nursing performance and direct patient care according to Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing rules and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care, promote continuity, and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in perinatal care, staying up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing degree program; BSN preferred.
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for certain units.
  • At least one year of high-risk RN experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
  • Experience working with high-risk populations and neonatal abstinence syndrome is highly valued.
Salary and Benefits:
