As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for performing psychiatric evaluations, treating patients with problems of personality, emotional adjustment, or mental illness. You will prescribe medications as deemed necessary for the treatment of mental illnesses and recommend appropriate therapy based on precedent and standards of the profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations to diagnose and treat patients with mental health conditions
  • Prescribe medications and recommend therapy to patients as needed
  • Oversee the treatment performed by medical students and psychiatry residents and instruct them in the typical patterns of progression of mental illnesses during treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric and psychological practices (Preferred)
  • Must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good health of our patients

We Offer:

  • Likely starting base salary range: $240,000-$280,000

  • Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans up to $200K over 5 years, if approved Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)
  • CME: $1,000 per year stipend for reimbursement; 5 Days paid CME absence

  • 50-55 days of annual paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year, and possible 5-day paid absence for CME)
